Our seminars are a combination of audio and text presentations, but the majority of the content in each seminar is supplied via audio. Text is displayed as the audio is played. Each seminar is approximately 10 to 15 minutes in length. Understanding that training needs vary, we've created two outstanding series to meet those needs: an Executive Series and a Technical Series. Our Executive Series provides industry professionals with a management oriented overview of the latest in computing and non-computing technologies. Each seminar in the Executive Series will help you understand the "big picture" without missing out on important details. The Technical Series is intended for those whose jobs require a technical background. These seminars cover topics such as Building an Internet-Based Interactive Form and IE 5.0 Developer Preview. To see how the latest technologies will impact you, or to learn some tricks of the trade, check out our Technical Series.
When you launch a seminar, a new Web browser window is opened. However, instead of
seeing your browser's standard toolbar, you'll see a modified browser
window. You can maximize and minimize the browser window, but the seminar
presentation window itself cannot be resized.
Once the seminar is launched, you don't have to do anything else. It will
run from start to finish. To navigate on your own, click on a particular
topic or a button in the seminar navigation bar.
*Note: When you click on the Pause button, there is a 3 second delay before the presentation actually pauses. The word "pausing..." blinks at the bottom of the seminar presentation window until the system pauses. When the presentation is paused, you'll see the following: To resume play, click on the Play (middle) button. To exit the seminar, click on the Exit button at the bottom right corner:
